SOVIETSKY HOTEL

Built by Iosif Stalin's order in 1952 in Russian Empire style as a complex with the famous restaurant "Yar", the hotel Sovietsky is successfuly combining old traditions with modern amenities.
The hotel is conveniently located just about ten minutes by car from the Kremlin and 25 minutes by car or 16 miles away from the international airport Sheremetevo-2.

  The reastaurant "Yar" of the hotel Sovietsky is fairly considered one of the best in Moscow. Founded in 1826 and rebuilt in 1910, it consists of thee halls and maintains the atmosphere of the beginning of this century and the delicious Russian-European cuisine. There is also a nice relaxing lobby bar.
