Internet access in Russia

• Dialup

  There are numerous Internet dialup service providers in Moscow. Usage time can be obtained by purchasing a card with access telepone numbers at virtually any telecom store. Cards come in $5, $10, $20 and $50 nominations. The user would need to login as a guest once the connection with the provider's service is established and type in the serial number and the code from the purchased card.

  Recommended providers:

  • MTU (http://dialup.mtu.ru/) with one hour cost varying from from $0.30 to $1.00.
  • Russia-on-Line (http://www.online.ru/) with access numbers in most Russian cities (approx. $0.9 per hour)

• High-Speed Internet

  High-speed internet connection in Moscow is provided by ADSL (Broadband) or cable TV. ADSL (Broadband) providers:
